Sher Brothers Rent a Car runs an intercity car service in Pakistan: a city to city car service with a private car and driver. The fare is fixed before the trip and covers fuel, tolls and parking. What an Intercity Fare Includes

This is a drop-off service, so there is no 12-hour duty limit. The booking covers the time needed to complete the trip. Unlike a daily or outstation rental, our intercity rent a car fares are per trip.

Why a Fixed Fare Matters on a Long Trip

The fare is agreed before you leave and does not change because of traffic or a slow road. You do not have to bargain with the driver during the trip, and motorway tolls are not added to your bill at the end. The 60-minute pickup guarantee means a regular car reaches your address within 60 minutes of a confirmed booking, in whichever city your trip starts.

Because this is a private car service, you also know which car model you are booking before the trip. This makes it easier to choose a car based on the number of people travelling, luggage and the type of trip you have planned.

Sher Brothers Rent a Car is responsible for the trip. All our drivers are NADRA and police verified. If the driver misbehaves, you complain to us and we deal with it. If the car breaks down on the way, we send a replacement car within 60 minutes.

Intercity Car Service or inDrive City to City?

For Lahore to Islamabad, a Sher Brothers Rent a Car Wagon R at PKR 15,500 with the toll included cost less than an inDrive private ride at about PKR 20,480 with toll in October 2026. An inDrive shared seat is cheaper for one person travelling alone. For three or more people, a whole car costs less per person.

The inDrive city to city ride from Jubilee Town was about PKR 19,050 before negotiation. Adding about PKR 1,430 for the M-2 toll brought the estimated total to about PKR 20,480. The published Sher Brothers Rent a Car Wagon R fare was PKR 15,500, including the toll.

inDrive also showed a shared seat at about PKR 7,600 per person. For one person travelling alone, that shared seat is cheaper than booking a whole car with Sher Brothers Rent a Car.

The calculation changes when several people travel together. A PKR 15,500 Wagon R shared by four people works out to PKR 3,875 each, so for three or more people a whole car costs less per person than the inDrive shared-seat price.

The two services also work differently. inDrive fares change with demand and inDrive describes itself as a platform, not a taxi service. On inDrive, the car and driver are individuals and each driver works for himself, while at Sher Brothers Rent a Car the company answers for the driver and sends a replacement car within 60 minutes if a car breaks down. The Sher Brothers Rent a Car fare is fixed before the trip.

One-Way Drop or Same-Day Round Trip?

A one-way drop is a door-to-door pick and drop: the driver picks you up from your door, takes you to your destination, drops you at your address and returns. A same-day round trip means the driver takes you to the destination, waits for you and brings you back on the same day. Both are booked at fixed fares.

If you need to keep the car for more than one day, the booking changes to an outstation rental rather than a fixed intercity fare. Our outstation car rental is charged per day at the outstation rate, with no 12-hour limit and overtime only after midnight.

For an overnight outstation booking, a PKR 2,000 driver overnight allowance applies. Fuel and tolls are paid separately on these bookings.

Which Car for a Long-Distance Trip?

The right car mainly depends on how many people are travelling and how much luggage you have. A Suzuki Wagon R suits up to four people travelling with light bags.

The Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, Honda City and Honda Civic are sedans that can take up to four people with two large bags. They suit small families travelling with luggage.

For larger groups, a Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin can take 13 people, while a Toyota Coaster can take up to 28.
