Where the Sportage earns its rate
It sits between a sedan and a full-size SUV, and the difference you pay for is height. Unfinished streets on the edge of the city, a construction site, a village road off the highway, a hill route with broken tarmac: a Corolla scrapes and a Sportage does not.
On smooth roads a sedan does the same journey for less, and we will say so. This is a booking for where the road stops being predictable, not for a day in Gulberg.
Overtime on this car is PKR 1,500 an hour past the twelfth, higher than the PKR 500 a sedan carries, because the car and the hour both cost more to give. Every rate of that kind is set out car by car under charges and booking information.
Four passengers, and why that is the honest number
The Sportage is published as a four-passenger car because that is what it carries once the driver is in front and luggage is in the boot. A fifth person technically fits across the back seat; nobody enjoys the journey, and the bags then ride on laps.
Most of this market advertises the same car as a five-seater and lets customers discover the difference on the morning. If you are five with luggage, the honest answer is a seven-seater: the Suzuki APV at PKR 7,000 has the room, even if it has none of the presence.
North of Lahore
Beyond the city the figure is PKR 15,000 a day, driver included, with no 12-hour limit and overtime only after midnight. Each night away adds PKR 2,000 unless you would rather book his room yourself. Fuel and motorway tolls remain on your side.
This is the car people book for Naran, Kaghan and the sections of the Karakoram Highway where the surface gives out early in the season. Against the SUVs above it
A Toyota Fortuner is PKR 16,000 a day and a Prado PKR 18,000. Both are bigger, both carry seven, and both cost more per hour of overtime. If the job is four people on a rough road rather than a party of seven or an entrance that needs to impress, the Sportage does it for PKR 4,000 to PKR 6,000 a day less.

PKR 12,000 for a twelve-hour day with the driver in the price, rising to PKR 15,000 once the car leaves Lahore. Fuel, tolls and parking are settled on use. Seven days come to PKR 80,000, one driver across the whole booking.
How many people can travel in a Sportage?
Four, with the driver in front. We publish four rather than five because a fifth passenger leaves nowhere for the luggage and no room across the back. Groups of five or more are better served by a seven-seater, and we will suggest one rather than squeeze you in.
Which model years do you run?
Between 2020 and 2025, which puts this among the newest cars we run. Which of those years turns up depends on the fleet that morning. If a particular year matters to you, raise it at enquiry and we will name the car before any advance changes hands.
Is the Sportage suitable for northern areas?
For Naran, Kaghan, Swat and the sealed stretches of the Karakoram Highway, yes. For high passes, remote valley tracks or Babusar Top outside the settled season, a Prado or a Land Cruiser is the safer vehicle and we would rather send that than have you stuck.
What does overtime cost on this car?
PKR 1,500 for each hour past the twelfth, against PKR 500 on an economy car or a sedan. Duty is counted on one calendar date, so hours that carry past midnight are charged as overtime. Warn us at the time of booking if the evening is likely to run long.
Do you charge for distance inside the city?
No. Nothing on a city booking is measured by distance, so running from Raiwind Road to the airport and back twice costs what an idle day costs. Only a journey out of Lahore brings distance into it, and that price is agreed before the car moves.
Can I take the Sportage without a driver?
Cars without a driver go to approved customers inside Lahore only, and never for a single day. Whether this one is available that way on your dates is worth asking directly, because the list changes with demand and with what has just come back.
