Car Rental Rates in Lahore Per Day

Car rental rates in Lahore start at PKR 4,000 per day for a Suzuki Wagon R and run to PKR 120,000 for a Mercedes S-Class, driver included in every figure. The city column applies inside Lahore. The outstation column applies once the car leaves the city limits, because the driver stays overnight and returns empty.

Nothing beyond the car and the chauffeur is bundled into those figures. The next section lists exactly what you pay on top, and what you never pay at all.

What Is Included in the Rate, and What Costs Extra

The base rate covers the car and the driver for a 12-hour day. You pay separately for fuel, motorway and Ring Road tolls, parking, entry tickets and taxes. Overtime past 12 hours and the driver’s food allowance are charged at fixed published rates, listed below rather than added quietly at the end.

What Does a Full Day Actually Cost?

A city day has three fixed lines and two metered ones. The base rate and the driver food allowance are fixed and known before you book. Overtime is fixed per hour and only applies past 12 hours. Fuel and tolls are metered, billed at what you actually used, and shown as separate lines on the invoice.

Two things follow from these tables. Overtime is the line most people forget, and three extra hours in a sedan costs less than upgrading the car. On outstation trips the car you choose, not the duration, drives the bill, because the daily rate repeats for every day the car is away.

Is There a Kilometre Limit on a Lahore Rental?

No. There is no kilometre limit on a city rental inside Lahore. You can run the car from Shahdara to DHA and back as many times as the 12 hours allow without a distance charge. Outstation travel is priced per trip instead, using the outstation column above, so distance is settled before you leave.

This matters because most price comparisons you will see are not comparing the same thing. Aggregators and international brands commonly quote a low headline rate against a daily distance cap, often around 200 kilometres, then bill per kilometre beyond it. On a normal Lahore working day of school runs, Gulberg meetings and an airport collection, that cap is easy to pass without noticing.

Sher Brothers prices the day, not the odometer. The constraint on a city booking is the 12-hour duty window, and that window is visible to you from the moment the driver arrives.

Outstation works differently for a practical reason. Once the car leaves Lahore, the driver stays with it overnight and the car returns without a paying passenger, so the trip carries its own rate rather than a city day rate plus mileage.

How Long Is One Rental Day?

One rental day is 12 hours of driver duty, counted on a single calendar date. The clock starts when the driver reaches your address, not when you booked. Run past the twelfth hour and overtime begins, charged by the hour at the rates listed in the extras above.

The 12-hour limit exists because the same person drives your whole day. A driver who has already worked a full shift is a risk to you on the Ring Road at night, so the duty cycle is capped rather than stretched.

In practice the cap is rarely a problem. A typical city booking runs eight to ten hours. If you know in advance that your day will run longer, say so when you book. We can schedule a driver change instead, which costs less than several hours of overtime and keeps a rested person behind the wheel.

Duty runs on one date. A booking that crosses midnight becomes a two-day booking, so an overnight wedding or a late airport arrival should be booked as such from the start.

What Happens If My Booking Crosses Midnight?

Driver duty is counted on one calendar date. A booking that starts at 6pm and ends at 2am touches two dates, so it bills as two rental days rather than one long day with overtime. Tell us at the booking stage and we price it correctly instead of surprising you at settlement.

This catches people out on three occasions in particular: a wedding that runs past midnight, a flight departing between midnight and 4am, and a night departure for a northern trip to get ahead of the traffic.

For weddings, there is usually a better answer than two rental days. Wedding limousine bookings are priced per event rather than per day, and that price already covers fuel, tolls, parking, the chauffeur’s meals and overnight stay, and decoration within Lahore. A barat that runs from evening into the early hours is one event and one price, so the midnight question never arises.

For an early flight, book the car for the previous evening. The driver arrives the night before, the car is at your gate when you leave, and you pay one clean rental day rather than a fraction of two.

What Is the Cancellation Policy?

Cancel 72 hours or more before your booking and you pay nothing. Cancel between 72 and 24 hours before, and 50% of the booking is retained. Under 24 hours the booking is non-refundable, because the car and driver have already been held off the schedule for your date.

Booking changes are treated differently from cancellations. Moving a booking to another date, or switching to a different car, is handled without a penalty where the fleet allows it. Call before the 24-hour mark and there is almost always a way to reschedule rather than lose the booking.

Bookings that carry an advance, such as weddings and limousines, follow these same tiers on the amount already paid.

How Fast Can a Car Reach My Address in Lahore?

Delivery across Lahore normally takes under an hour from confirmation. Areas close to Nawab Town, Johar Town and Model Town are often quicker. DHA, Cantt and Bahria Town run to the longer end of that window, particularly between 8am and 10am and again after 5pm.

Delivery time depends on where the car is starting from, not just where you are. Our office sits on Raiwind Road near Universal College in Nawab Town, and cars returning from morning drops are usually distributed across the south and west of the city.

They finish the day where they live and keep the car with them, so a booking in Gulberg is usually filled by a car already in Gulberg rather than one setting off from Nawab Town. For a 7am airport departure, book the night before. The car arrives before you need it and waits, which removes the traffic risk from the equation entirely.

Which Car Should You Book?

Match the car to the road and the luggage, not to the price. A Corolla GLi at PKR 5,500 per day handles almost any city day for up to four adults. A BR-V at PKR 8,000 is the sensible step up once you have three rows or a boot full of wedding luggage. Northern trips need ground clearance, so the Prado and Land Cruiser V8 earn their rates.

For city meetings and airport runs, a Toyota Corolla GLi or Honda City is enough car. Both seat five, both take two large suitcases, and both cost the same PKR 5,500 per day. If you want the newer sedan, the Honda Civic for rent in Lahore runs PKR 8,000 per day.

For a family of six or seven, the Honda BR-V at PKR 8,000 works out cheaper and more comfortable than two sedans. The third row is genuinely usable for children, less so for adults on a long run. The Suzuki APV for rent in Lahore is the more affordable seven-seater at PKR 7,000 per day.

For corporate guests and airport protocol, the Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Prado carry the presence the occasion usually calls for. The Toyota Revo for rent in Lahore sits just below them at PKR 14,000 per day, and the Land Cruiser V8 tops the SUV range at PKR 25,000.

For groups, the Toyota Hiace Grand Cabin seats 13 and the Coaster for rent in Lahore seats 22 to 28. Larger parties take the Yutong bus. All three are booked heavily through wedding season, so give as much notice as you can.

For northern routes towards Naran, Skardu or Hunza, book high clearance. A sedan will physically reach many of these places in good weather, but a broken suspension on the Babusar road is an expensive way to save PKR 10,000.
