A day with the 45-seat coach
PKR 80,000 covers the coach and its driver for twelve hours on one date inside Lahore. Fuel goes on what the bus actually burns, tolls and parking are added by route, and the driver’s meals in the city are ours rather than yours.
A bus day is planned differently from a car day. The coach is positioned before the first pickup, not called for it, so a nine o’clock departure means the driver is outside by half past eight. Between legs it needs somewhere to stand, which is worth thinking about before the day rather than during it.
The twelve hours are counted on one calendar date, exactly as they are on a car, and every charge that can land on a booking this size is set out under what a rental costs.
Who fills 45 seats
Three groups book almost every coach that leaves our yard: wedding parties moving a baraat in one vehicle, colleges and universities running a trip, and companies taking staff to a function or a factory visit.
The arithmetic is what decides it. Forty-five people in vans is three vehicles, three drivers and three different arrival times. In one coach everybody leaves together, arrives together, and the family or the department is not scattered across a car park trying to find each other.
Luggage rides in the bays under the floor rather than on knees, which is the practical difference on a college trip north or a wedding that carries its own catering. If your group is nearer 28 than 45, the Toyota Coaster Saloon is the smaller room at a much smaller rate.
Taking the coach out of the city
Leave the city and the coach is quoted for the whole journey instead of by the day, because a run to Murree and a run to Karachi are nothing like the same job. Send the destination, the dates and the number of nights, and the figure comes back before anything is confirmed.
Northern trips need the most planning. Road conditions decide how far a full-size coach can sensibly go, and there are valleys where something smaller is the honest answer and we will say so rather than take the booking. Our northern tour fleet page sets out which one suits which road.
Each night the driver stays away is PKR 2,000, unless you would rather arrange his room and meals with the group’s own booking.
What to settle before you book a bus
Four things decide whether the day runs smoothly, and none of them is the rate. Where the coach can stand between legs. Whether the venue’s gate and turning circle take a full-size bus. What time the group actually leaves, rather than the time on the card. And who is in charge of the group on the day, so the driver has one person to speak to.
For wedding work the coach usually sits alongside cars for the immediate family, which is arranged on our wedding car rental page. For a one-way move between cities without a return leg, an intercity drop is usually the cheaper structure.

How many people does a Yutong bus seat?
45 passengers, with the driver in addition. That makes it the largest vehicle in the Sher Brothers fleet and the only one that moves a full baraat or a college group in a single journey. Below that, a Coaster Saloon takes 28 and a Hiace Grand Cabin 13.
What is the Yutong bus rent per day in Lahore?

Is the coach air conditioned?
Yes, on every coach we run. Between 2020 and 2023 models, with reclining seats and luggage bays beneath the floor. Tell us at booking if your group includes elderly passengers or small children and we will allocate accordingly.
How much luggage can 45 passengers bring?
The under-floor bays take one case per passenger comfortably. A group travelling with a full set each, or carrying catering and equipment for an event, should tell us the load at booking so the space is checked rather than assumed on the morning.
How far in advance should a bus be booked?
As early as the date is fixed, and earlier again for wedding season. Coaches are the smallest part of any rental fleet in Lahore, ours included, and one cannot be swapped in on the morning the way a sedan can. A week is comfortable; a day is a gamble.
Can the bus be booked for a few hours rather than a day?
The rate is a day rate, because a coach is positioned, staffed and taken off the schedule whether it runs for four hours or twelve. For a short transfer between two points, tell us the plan anyway and we will say whether a smaller vehicle does the job for less.
Do you rent buses other than the Yutong?
This page covers the Yutong coach only. For groups under 45 the fleet runs the Coaster Saloon at 28 seats and the Hiace Grand Cabin at 13, both of which are easier to park and cheaper to run for a smaller party.
