Two things in that table surprise most customers. The first is that the Honda BR-V and Suzuki APV carry more luggage than the Fortuner, the Prado and the Land Cruiser, not less, even though they cost a third as much. Seven seats in a large SUV leave very little behind the third row.
The second is that the BR-V has a roof carrier fitted, which is why it takes five big bags and three hand carries with all seven people on board. If your group is seven adults with a full set of luggage, the BR-V at PKR 8,000 is a more practical choice than a Prado at PKR 16,000.

How Much Luggage Really Fits
This is the question we get asked most and the one nobody in the search results answers. Here is the honest version.
Seven people plus full luggage
Take the APV or the BR-V. Both manage five big bags. The APV also takes five hand carries, so for a family of seven going to a wedding with gifts and cases, it is the most practical vehicle we rent at any price.
Seven people in comfort, lighter luggage
The Fortuner, Prado and Land Cruiser each take three big bags and three hand carries with all seven seats occupied. They are the better ride, not the bigger boot.
Thirteen people
The Grand Cabin takes three big bags plus a hand carry for every passenger. That suits a group trip where everyone brings one case rather than a full set.
Twenty-eight people
The Coaster takes five big bags plus a hand carry each. For a college trip or a wedding party this is normally enough, but tell us in advance if the group is travelling with heavy luggage.
Fewer passengers means more luggage. Every figure above assumes every seat is taken. Drop the passenger count and the capacity rises quickly, because seats fold and floor space opens up. Six people in a Grand Cabin can carry far more than three big bags.

Hill roads
Which Group Vehicles Suit Murree and the North
Seat count is only half the decision. The road decides the rest, and a seven seater that is right for a city wedding can be the wrong choice for a mountain trip.
Murree, the Galiyat and sealed roads
The road to Murree is sealed the whole way. A BR-V or an APV handles it comfortably, and so do the Grand Cabin and the Coaster. For a family group going up for two days, the BR-V is usually the sensible booking.
Naran, Kaghan and rough sections
Once surfaces break up, ground clearance matters. The Fortuner and Prado are the right choice here. The APV and BR-V are front-wheel-drive family vehicles and we would not send them onto rough valley roads with seven people aboard.
Babusar, Khunjerab and Skardu
High passes and long remote stretches call for the Prado, Fortuner or Land Cruiser V8. Season matters as much as the vehicle, so check our tour vehicle page for when the passes open.
Large groups going north
The Grand Cabin and Coaster both travel to the north regularly, but they climb more slowly than a car. Build an extra hour or two into each day of the itinerary rather than assuming car timings.
Bigger groups
Beyond 28 Seats
For groups larger than a Coaster we also run a Yutong bus, which is the largest vehicle in our fleet. Capacity and the daily rate are confirmed at the time of enquiry, because bus availability depends on the date and the route.
If you are moving a wedding party, a school group or a company outing and you are not sure whether one Coaster is enough or you need two vehicles, send us the head count and the pickup points. Two Grand Cabins are often more practical than one Coaster when the group is spread across the city, and the cost works out similar.

Booking speed
Group vehicles are the first to book out, particularly in wedding season and from June to September. The 60-minute pickup guarantee applies, but a Coaster at short notice on a Saturday is not something we can promise.
