Sher Brothers Rent a Car Lahore provides car rentals for local Lahore travel and outstation trips across Pakistan. This page explains our rental charges, driver duty, overtime, fuel, tolls, cancellation policy, and other booking terms before you confirm a booking.

Frequently Asked Questions About Rental Charges & Booking Policies
Before confirming a booking, customers often ask us to explain how certain charges and booking policies work. Below are the answers to the questions our team is asked most often.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
No. Our rental price includes the car and driver only. Fuel is charged separately based on the distance and travel during your booking.
Before starting your journey, we recommend checking the fuel gauge with the driver so the starting fuel level is clear.
What if my trip ends in another city?
Some customers book a car for several days and later decide to end their trip in another city instead of returning to Lahore. In that case, the additional costs for the car and driver to return to Lahore, including fuel, motorway tolls, and other applicable road charges, are charged separately. We’ll explain these charges before confirming your booking, so you know the total cost in advance.
Do I need to provide food for the driver?
For bookings within Lahore, customers either provide the driver with a meal during the duty hours or pay PKR 500 as a food allowance. For outstation travel, customers are responsible for the driver’s meals throughout the trip.
What happens if my trip requires an overnight stay?
If your journey requires the driver to stay overnight, you can either arrange suitable accommodation and meals or pay a PKR 2,000 overnight allowance, allowing the driver to arrange them independently.
How many hours are included in one rental day?
Driver duty is a maximum of 12 hours on the same date. You can choose the booking time according to your schedule.
If you need the car beyond the 12-hour duty period, overtime charges apply. Economy cars and sedans are charged PKR 500 per hour, while luxury cars, SUVs, Grand Cabin, and Coaster are charged PKR 2,000 per hour.
If an extension continues well into the following day, an additional rental day may apply. Our team will explain the applicable charge before confirming the extension.
Are motorway tolls, Lahore Ring Road tolls, and parking charges included?
No. Motorway tolls, Lahore Ring Road tolls, parking charges, and other road charges are paid separately by the customer because they depend on the route travelled during the booking.
Is tax included in the rental price?
No. Taxes are not included in the standard rental price. If a customer or organization requires taxes to be included in the quotation, they must specify the applicable taxes and the required tax amount or rate. Sher Brothers will then include those taxes separately in the quotation before the booking is confirmed.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Our standard cancellation policy applies to advance bookings:
- 72 hours or more before pickup: Free cancellation.
- Less than 72 hours but at least 24 hours before pickup: 50% of the advance payment is retained.
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: The advance payment is non-refundable.
- After the car has been dispatched, the advance payment is non-refundable.
For same-day bookings where no advance payment has been made, if the car has already arrived at your pickup location and you decide not to proceed, you’ll only be charged for the fuel used to reach you. No additional cancellation charges apply.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. Before confirming your booking, we’ll explain all applicable charges, including fuel, toll taxes, parking fees, driver meals, overnight stay, overtime, and any other costs that apply to your journey. Our goal is to make sure you know exactly what to expect before your trip begins.
