Model Town is one of the oldest planned neighbourhoods in Lahore, laid out in 1921 as a garden suburb and registered as a cooperative society in 1924. It covers about 1,463 acres, nearly a fifth of it green space, and the original blocks run from A to K around a central park. Sher Brothers delivers rental cars to any of them.

The layout
Finding an Address Inside the Circle
Model Town is not laid out on a grid. It is a set of blocks arranged around a park, and that changes how a driver reaches you.
The inner circular road
Model Town Park sits in the middle, about 125 acres with a 2.5 km jogging track around it, and the inner circular road runs around the park. Most block entrances come off it, so our drivers use the circle as the reference point rather than a street name.
Blocks A to K
These are the original blocks of the 1924 society. Give us the block letter and the house number and that is enough. Our drivers do not need a landmark on top of it.
The outer blocks
L, M, N, P, Q, R and S sit on the outskirts and are administered by the LDA rather than the society. They are further out, so mention the block when you book and we allow for it.
Ferozepur Road side
If you are near the Ferozepur Road entrance, say so. In the morning peak that side is quicker to reach than coming through the Link Road.

Bank Square and the C-Block market
The commercial strip is busy through the day and parking is tight. Your driver waits and moves the car rather than leaving it, so you are not walking back to a parked car with shopping.
Model Town Link Road
The Link Road runs across to Faisal Town and Township and is lined with shops on both sides. Pickups here are straightforward outside the evening rush.
Schools in and around the blocks
Lahore Grammar School, The City School and Beaconhouse all have addresses in this part of Lahore. Families book a monthly car with the same driver for the school run, which we cover on our monthly rental page.
Model Town Park gates
Early morning pickups from the park gates are common, particularly for airport runs where people want to leave before the traffic builds.
Weddings
Wedding Cars in Model Town
Model Town has large family homes and a long tradition of hosting functions at home rather than only at halls. That changes what a wedding booking looks like here.
A hall booking usually needs one car for the couple and a short list of guest cars. A house function in Model Town more often needs several cars running between the house, the hotel where relatives are staying and the venue, across two or three days.
For the couple we are usually asked for the Land Cruiser V8 at PKR 25,000 a day, the Prado at PKR 16,000 or the Audi A6. For guests, the Grand Cabin at PKR 13,000 seats 13 and the Coaster seats up to 28, which is the practical way to move a whole side of the family at once.
We also run a separate wedding car service and a limousine if you want the arrival to be the centrepiece.

Airport
Getting to the Airport from Model Town
Allama Iqbal International Airport is on the far side of the city from Model Town, so this is not a ten minute run. Book the car for earlier than feels necessary, particularly on a weekday morning, and tell us the flight time rather than the time you want to leave. We work backwards from the flight.
Fixed airport fares include the driver and the fuel, so there is no meter and no surprise at the end. Late arrivals are covered too: the driver waits, and you are not paying by the minute for a delayed flight.

We hold a 60-minute pickup guarantee across Lahore, and it works because cars are not all dispatched from our office on Raiwind Road. Drivers are stationed around the city, so the car that comes to Model Town is the nearest free one, not one that has to cross the whole city first.
That matters most in the evening peak, when Ferozepur Road and the Link Road both slow down. If you need a car at a fixed time, book it in the morning and we hold it.
