One Way: The car takes you from Lahore to Murree and the trip ends there.
Same-Day Round Trip: The car and driver stay with you in Murree and bring you back to Lahore on the same day.

Luxury cars are priced differently. For some premium cars, the one-way fare is already close to the same-day round-trip fare. This is why the difference between the two prices can be small. For example, the Fortuner is PKR 85,000 one way and PKR 90,000 for a same-day return.
Overnight and multi-day trips are quoted separately because the number of days and destinations can change the price.
Prices can also change with vehicle availability and travel dates, especially during busy weekends, holidays and snowfall periods. We confirm the price before booking.

The exact distance depends on your pickup point in Lahore and your destination in Murree. Travel time can also increase because of traffic, rain, fog, snow or busy weekends.
The road
Lahore to Murree Route
There are two main ways to travel from Lahore to Murree.
Motorway route
Lahore → M-2 → Islamabad → Murree Expressway → Murree
This is the route we normally use. You travel from Lahore on the M-2 Motorway toward Islamabad. From Islamabad, the route continues into the hills toward Murree.
The first part of the trip is mostly motorway driving. After Islamabad, the road becomes a mountain route with bends, climbs and slower sections. There are motorway service areas where you can stop for food, tea, prayer or a short break.
GT Road route
Lahore → Gujranwala → Gujrat → Jhelum → Rawalpindi → Murree
GT Road is the older route and usually takes longer than the motorway. It can be useful if you want to stop along the way, visit someone on the route or prefer GT Road.
Tell us if you want to use GT Road. If you do not have a preference, we normally use the motorway.
On the way
Stops on the Way to Murree
A private car gives you more freedom to stop during the journey. You can ask the driver to stop for food, tea, prayer, washroom, a short rest or photos.
Kallar Kahar
Kallar Kahar is a useful stop on the M-2 route. It is a common place to take a break, have food or tea and continue the journey.
For a direct Lahore-to-Murree trip, a short stop is usually enough.
Islamabad
Some customers prefer to stop in Islamabad before going up toward Murree. You can stop for lunch, tea or a short break if your travel plan allows enough time.
If you have a specific place in Islamabad that you want to visit, tell us before booking.
Sightseeing
Places to Visit Around Murree
Murree itself has several places that visitors commonly include in their trip.
Kashmir Point
Known for its mountain views and walking area. It is close to central Murree and can be included in a sightseeing plan.
Pindi Point
Another well-known viewpoint in Murree. It is a common stop for visitors who want views from the hilltop.
Bhurban
A popular area for hotels, resorts and a quieter stay outside central Murree.
If your hotel is in Bhurban, give us the hotel name when booking. Bhurban is not treated as the same destination as central Murree for every trip, especially when you are booking a one-way drop.
Patriata
Patriata, also called New Murree, is known for its chairlift and cable car. If you want to visit Patriata during your trip, tell us before booking so it can be included in the route.

Going Beyond Murree
Many customers do not stop at Murree. They continue into the Galiyat.
Popular destinations include:

Does it cost more to go beyond Murree?
Yes. The prices in the table are based on Lahore to Murree as the agreed destination.
If your trip is Lahore → Murree → Nathia Gali, or Lahore → Murree → Ayubia → Nathia Gali → Lahore, the price will be different. The extra distance, driving time and number of stops are taken into account.
Tell us your complete route before booking and we will give you the correct price. This is especially important for same-day trips because adding several Galiyat destinations can make the return journey very long.
Same-day trips
Same-Day Lahore to Murree Return
A same-day trip is possible if you want to visit Murree and return to Lahore without staying overnight. The car and driver remain with you during the day.
A same-day trip can work well for:
- A family day trip
- A short visit to Murree
- Lunch in the hills
- Kashmir Point and Pindi Point
- Bhurban
- Patriata
- A few sightseeing stops
However, trying to cover Murree, Patriata, Ayubia and Nathia Gali and then return to Lahore on the same day can make for a very long day.
If you want to visit several places in the hills, an overnight or multi-day trip is usually a better choice.

Weather
Snowfall and Hill-Road Travel
Murree weather can change quickly. Rain, fog and snowfall can slow down the journey. During heavy snowfall, traffic can also become very slow and some roads may be restricted.
If you are travelling to Murree specifically for snowfall, allow extra time and keep your plans flexible.
Our driver knows the Lahore-to-Murree route, but weather and road restrictions are outside our control.
Timing
When Should You Leave Lahore?
For a same-day Murree trip, an early start gives you more time in the hills. Weekends, public holidays and snowfall periods can be much busier than normal weekdays.
If you leave Lahore late in the morning, you may spend a large part of the day travelling and have less time for Murree.

Luxury cars have different pricing. For some of them, the cost of keeping the car available for the trip means the one-way fare is already close to the same-day rate. For example, the Fortuner is PKR 85,000 one way and PKR 90,000 same day.
Can we go to Murree and return to Lahore on the same day?
Yes. Same-day return trips are available.
Can we stay overnight in Murree?
Yes. Overnight and multi-day trips can be arranged. The price is quoted separately based on the car, number of days and places you want to visit.
Can we go from Lahore to Murree and then Nathia Gali?
Yes. But this is not priced as a standard Lahore-to-Murree trip. Tell us the complete route, such as Lahore → Murree → Nathia Gali, when requesting the price.
Can we visit Ayubia and Nathia Gali on the same trip?
Yes. You can include both in your itinerary. The fare will increase because the car travels farther and spends more time on the road.
Can we go to Patriata?
Yes. Patriata can be added to your trip. Tell us before booking if you want to visit Patriata.
Can we go to Bhurban instead of Murree?
Yes. We can drop you at a hotel or other location in Bhurban. Give us the exact destination when booking so we can quote the trip correctly.
Can we stop at Kallar Kahar?
Yes. You can request a stop at Kallar Kahar during the journey.
Can we stop in Islamabad?
Yes, if your itinerary allows enough time. Tell us before booking if you want to make a stop in Islamabad.
Which route do you normally take?
We normally use Lahore → M-2 → Islamabad → Murree Expressway → Murree. GT Road is also available if you prefer it.
How long does Lahore to Murree take?
It normally takes around 5–7 hours, depending on traffic, weather, stops and your exact pickup and drop-off points.
Is the road difficult after Islamabad?
The road becomes a hill route after Islamabad. It has more bends and climbs than the motorway. Our drivers are familiar with the Lahore-to-Murree route and hill-road driving.
What happens if it snows?
Snow can make the journey slower and roads may become very busy. In heavy snowfall, road restrictions or closures may also happen. We recommend allowing extra time and keeping your plans flexible.
Can we choose the departure time?
Yes. Tell us your preferred pickup time when booking. For same-day trips, we recommend leaving Lahore early so you have more time in Murree.
Can we stop for food and tea?
Yes. You can ask the driver to stop during the journey.
Can we stop for prayer?

Which car is best for four people?
Corolla, Yaris, City, Civic and Sportage are available for four passengers. If you have a lot of luggage, tell us so we can suggest the better option.
Which car should seven people book?
BR-V, Fortuner, Prado or Land Cruiser V8 can be considered for seven passengers. The right choice also depends on how much luggage you have.
Do you have cars for large groups?
Yes. We have a 13-passenger Hiace Grand Cabin and a 28-passenger Coaster, subject to availability.
Can overseas Pakistanis book from abroad?
Yes. Overseas customers can provide a passport copy for booking confirmation.
Can I rent a car without a driver for Murree?
Self-drive is not the standard option for this intercity service. Approved customers can ask about self-drive availability.
